Agility Courses
A dog park agility course is an exciting and challenging playground for our four-legged friends.
Jumps: One of the main features of an agility course, jumps come in different types, such as, broad jumps, double bars, triple bars, single jumps, and rings. The goal for dogs is to clear these jumps without knocking off the top board or bar, but beginners should start with easier heights and work their way up based on their size.
Tunnels: Another fun obstacle is the tunnel, where dogs can either crawl through cautiously or sprint through with enthusiasm.
Weave poles: test a dog’s agility as they weave between them at top speed, aiming not to miss a single pole.
The Adventure Peak A-frame: is shaped like the letter “A,” and dogs must climb up and down while making contact with designated footings.
Teeters: similar to park seesaws, challenge dogs to maintain balance as they shift their weight.
The Dogwalk: consisting of a center section and two ramps, is a longer and narrower obstacle that requires careful control and coordination.
Overall, a dog park agility course provides a stimulating and rewarding environment for dogs to exercise and showcase their skills
